This is the cat who lives outside my front door. The neighbor kids made it a little shelter and feed it. I really wanted to take her in but the husband has made it clear we are a one pet household for now.

Suddenly I'm all about the blogging.  Thanks to some inspiration from a dear friend I've decided to do 52 this year.  I've also decided to keep the pressure and stress levels low I'm just doing random shots. Things that amuse or speak to me in some way. I may try to do monthly themes but for now I just want to see if I can actually stick to the schedule.

For Christmas the youngest received a Marvel superhero action figure set but it seems Thor met has met his match:

Yet another thing finished and its also a Christmas gift. These were quick and easy...well except for the part where I had actually finished them and had to rip out the toe because I forgot and entire repeat but other than that, quick and easy;)

So laying around convalescing is good for something. I finished another gift. Loved using Creatively Dyed yarn but my hands were pink and black every time I worked on it. It took 5 rinses to get water to run clean and it still got all over the towel I blocked it with. Great colors though and I still have tons left.

Finally!

I started these socks a million years ago it seems. I hated the yarn and I wasn't crazy about the pattern in this color but they were made to order for the youngest so I had to suck it up.

Another finished object

Less than a week after Rhinebeck and I already have something to show for it. Its a moebius scarf made from Brooks Farms Four Play. Hell its even a holiday gift. Shocking I know.

It's definitely flawed but I'll refrain from pointing them out here. If you're curious I'll have the full confession on Ravelry. Overall I'm happy with it and I think the recipient will be too.
