I saw The Runaways last night at the Fusion Film Festival. When the film was over there was a Q & A with Joan Jett. Being the geek that I am I hung around after to meet her. Thanks to Tisha for hanging with me and taking the pic.

Ravelympics Charity Curling Finished

I finished the damn helmet liner. It seems to have all worked out in the end but I have rarely been so happy to just be done with a project.

I am not knitting one of these things...

For the Ravelympics I am participating in Charity Curling for Team Tardis.

The project is a helmet liner:

Finally finished the Doctor Who socks for Avery. This yarn was part of White Oaks TV series inspired hand-dyed yarns. Not sure why these colors made the her think of Doctor Who but whatever, Avery loves them. I started these back in March of last year so we can scratch another UFO off the list!

...we won't talk about how long the blanket took:

Halfway mark

I am at row 13 of 25. At this point each row is 600+ stitches. I am so ready to be done with this thing.

Frogging

I realized at knitting last night that I was doing the last ring of the pinwheel blanket in the wrong color! I had to rip out 17 rows. The picture is after a few have been pulled out. There are no pictures of the crying and hair pulling that ensued upon my discovery.
